Though, the 2018 model of Buick Envision’s exterior styling is more or less generic, it comes at a reasonable price and that also with a generous number of wonderful features. Among other small luxury crossover SUVs, this one might be worth your attention. It comes with an attractive interior which is trimmed in high-quality materials along with a decent amount of interior and cargo space. As far as Buick’s portfolio is concerned, it slots between the compact Encore and larger Enclave.
One of the core drawbacks of this 2018 version of the car is that it is largely unchanged. It comes with more or less all the previous list of features except the engine! However, we have learned that the base trim’s 2.5 liter engine struggles a bit so we would recommend you to try Premium trim or Premium trim II. Unlike the base trim, the premium trims are powered by turbo charged engine. Up next, we will let you know about the 2018 Buik Envision pricing and deals.

Trim levels & features of Buik Envision 2018 –
The 2018 model of Buick Envision is a midsize crossover SUV which allows 5 persons to seat inside. As far as the trim levels are concerned, there are 5 trim levels. The base trim comes with a 2.5 liter 4 cylinder engine which produces 197 horsepower and 192 pound – feet torque. It also allows front wheel drive. Proffered trim and Essence trim adds all – wheel drive in its list of feature. On the other hand, the Premium trim and the Premium II trim have all – wheel drive as standard. It comes with a 2 liter turbocharged engine which produces 252 horsepower and 260 pound – feet torque. The best part of the story is that all Envisions trims use a 6 speed automatic transmission.
As far as other features are concerned, the base trim includes 18 inch wheels, auto – dimming heated mirrors, fog lights, a hands – free power lift gate which comes with adjustable opening heights, 60/40-split folding rear seats, keyless ignition, rear parking sensors, remote start, power adjustable heated front seats, dual zone automatic climate control, OnStar communications, Bluetooth, an 8 inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration, a rearview camera, satellite radio, 4 USB ports, a 6 speaker sound system.
The Preferred trim is similar but is open to add on features such as a panoramic sunroof, a roof rack, a cargo cover, and side assist steps.
The Essence trim includes 3 zone automatic climate control, a heated steering wheel, leather upholstery, driver seat memory settings, blind spot monitoring with rear cross traffic alert and heated outboard rear seat.
The Premium trim comes with 19 inch wheels, automatic wipers, front parking sensors, a larger driver information display, a 110 volt household power outlet, a 7 speaker Bose premium audio system, a forward collision alert system, and a lane departure warning and intervention system.
On the other hand, the Premium II trim includes automatic high beams, adaptive xenon headlights, and an automated parking system, a head up display, ventilated front seats, a navigation system, and an extendable thigh support for the driver. It is eligible for the Driver Confidence package which comes with adaptive cruise control, a forward collision mitigation system with automatic braking and a top to down parking camera system.
To be honest, Envision’s optional turbocharged 2 liter engine provides a more suitable amount of power to a luxury crossover. If the price is what concerns you the most then Envision is priced similarly to crossovers like Mercedes Benz AMG S63, Volvo XC60 or Acura RDX. It is still less than what you might have to pay for BMW X3 or Audi Q5. AMG S63 by Mercedes is insanely powerful and really is the only car you’d need. To be honest, there is almost nothing about the Envision that will make it stand out in this class but still, it covers the basics fair enough to give it a look.
